Shocking Video Captures Man Trying Kidnap Toddler Siblings Chasing Him Down

A surveillance video that emerged over the weekend shows a man approaching two toddler siblings outside a convenience store in suburban Atlanta before making a grab for one of the children. The footage, recorded on February 12, captures the man lingering near the kids as they stood by the entrance with what appears to be an older sibling or relative just out of frame. He then lunges forward, only to be interrupted when bystanders notice the commotion and give chase across the parking lot.

Witnesses on the scene described the man as moving quickly toward the children before the pursuit forced him to flee on foot. One woman who was pumping gas nearby said she heard shouting and turned to see several people running after him down the adjacent street. Police arrived minutes later but found no immediate trace of the suspect, who was last seen heading toward a wooded area behind the store.

The video has circulated widely on social media, with viewers noting how close the man came to succeeding before the quick reaction from passersby. Local authorities have asked anyone with additional information or similar sightings to contact the Atlanta Police Department tip line. Detectives are reviewing nearby camera feeds in hopes of identifying the individual.

Parents in the area have expressed concern after seeing the clip, with some saying they plan to keep a closer eye on their own children during routine errands. The store where the incident occurred has added extra lighting around the entrance and encouraged employees to monitor the exterior more closely during shifts.

Investigators continue to treat the case as an attempted kidnapping and have not ruled out the possibility that the man had been watching the location beforehand. No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening.
