Dad Follows 6 Year Old Mcdonalds Bathroom Sees Every Parents Worst
A father in suburban Chicago walked into a McDonald’s restroom last month and found his six-year-old son backed against the wall by a stranger. The man had followed the boy inside and was trying to pull him toward a stall. The dad shoved the door open just in time, grabbed his son, and watched the intruder run past him out into the parking lot.
Employees said the whole thing lasted less than a minute. One customer who was waiting outside the bathroom heard yelling and saw the father chase after the man before giving up and returning to check on the boy. The child was unharmed but crying and refused to let go of his father’s hand for the rest of the evening.
Police arrived quickly but found no clear description of the suspect beyond a white male in his thirties wearing a dark jacket. Surveillance footage from the restaurant showed the man entering the restroom shortly after the boy and leaving in a hurry once confronted. Detectives have asked anyone with information to come forward, though they have not released further details about the case.
The father later told local reporters he usually let his son use the bathroom alone but decided to check after a couple of minutes passed. He described the moment he opened the door as something no parent wants to picture. The family has not returned to that location since the incident.
